Los Angeles Art Gallery Tours at the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Conference

This week, Los Angeles Art Gallery Tours is representing the entire Los Angeles art scene for a national contingent of development and urban design thinkers, the Urban Land Institute, who have flocked to the LA Convention Center to attend land-use themed seminars.

Despite conference attendees’ natural appetite for urban exploration, like most conventioneers, their view of our amazing city is likely to be restricted to hotel rooms and the less-than-inspiring downtown Convention Center which, despite Alexis Smith’s impressive terazzo lobby, remains pretty much a cookie-cutter version of any other city’s convention center. LAAGT is here with a team of LA cultural representatives to deliver a little taste of the free-flowing creative energy that our little megalopolis has to offer.

Positive energy abounds here, thanks both to the enthusiastic innovative spirit of the conference’s attendees and also to KCRW’s brilliant and ebullient Frances Anderton, of Design and Architecture (DnA) fame, who along with public relations firm, Secret Agent PR, organized our portion of the event.
